Primer on the walls!

It really smelled, but it's really moving along!  Some of the gutters are up and the primer is on the walls.  Tomorrow the texture people will be there and the painter has been scheduled for Wednesday.  It'll take a couple days for painting and then hardwood floors next week and then Jake (Katie's husband) will come and hang the cabinets that we finished today (YEAH!) and doors and trim!  It so exciting!!!!  xoxo

Long weekend

We stained all the cabinets this weekend. It was a very long weekend. Friday night, all day Saturday and Sunday!  We have one more side of the doors and then we are done!  I love saving money, but man was I tired!!  Kaden and Kyrah watched a movie in the future kitchen. Kaden took a nice nap and was much happier afterwards!  Love to you all. Xoxoxo

Just a couple picture but they are hanging drywall!!!  So in one month (ish) we will get to live in a house!  Lots of changes this month, so they'll be lots of pictures!  So happy!!!

August 17th

Updates! It's sure moving slow, but here's some new pictures.

This is how the kids sleep most nights. Notice the top bunk, EMPTY! There is no leg room for Sydney and not much for Kyrah, but they sleep really good!  Not sure what they will do when there's actual bedrooms! 

We are still TBD on the closing. Thought it would be around August 13th but with the delays this week, not sure if that will happen or not. 

Sydney and Kaden got pink eye today, but thankfully got them both on antibiotics so Sydney can start school on Tuesday. Kyrah and Sydney are both very excited to start, and we are looking forward to being busy so the next month flies by! Love to you all, keep us on your prayers!  Xoxo

End of softball and baseball - from July 25th

Tonight was Kadens last night for baseball and the girls were done a few days ago. They all did so well and it was so much fun watching them improve!  Here's a couple pictures.

31 days left!

Whohoo! We got out approximate closing date which is Sept 12th!  We seriously can't wait! Yesterday the inspector came though and did the rough inspection and found no issues. This means that the plumbing, electric and gas lines are in the correct places. Monday the insulation guy will come and insulate, Tuesday insulation inspection and the Wednesday....DRYWALL!!!  The painters have caulked all the outside of the house and have covers over the windows, so they should be painting early next week too. So excited! The picture below might look like some repeats, but all the rough in are done so need these pictures so when we want to do something in the future, we remember what's there!
