Catching up!

This is the sky last night after our rain storm. Smelled so good but the sky was really creepy and greenish. One of the many frogs that come out at night ( I think it's because they are tired of getting loved on by the kids) an the last one is if this morning. Just chillin!!!  Love you all!  Oh yeah and framing should start on Monday! Whohoo! 

Updates

It's been a while, because it has been so busy!  What were we thinking getting three kids in sports!  They all have been improving so much, it's so fun to see!!  We got to ride horses this weekend and Sydney was more than thrilled.  Kyrah said it was fun and Kaden thought it was cool for a while then just went to play with the dogs!  I was so busy keeping track of the kids and horses I didn't get any pictures, but have no fear, there will be more riding in the near future!  

The best part of the summer house this week is the appearance of extremely large toads!!  They are bigger than Kaden's hands and the kids love catching them!  Not so excited that the pee on them, but have a great time catching them!  On an exciting note for me, we went and got our mattress from the storage unit over the weekend and now we have a REAL bed in the camper!! Whohoo right? LOL!  It's the small things right now!  

Today we also got to pick out the cabinets for the house too!  Oh it was so exciting and such a fun process!  Now hopefully we stayed close to budget, guess we will find out tomorrow. The pictures are from the progress on the house. The trusses were delivered and the beams were delivered too!  Maybe it will eventually look like a house?!  Love to you all!  Xoxo

Foundation poured

Finally, the foundation has been poured!  Now it has to sit and cure for a week, so maybe they will start framing in the next month or so...okay, just joking, it should only be a week, but sometimes it feels like we will never move in!!  

Hopefully we will get to start picking out the cabinets next week!  So can't wait!

I went for a run last night and when I was coming home, this is what i got to look at.  The picture doesn't do the colors the justice, but it was just so peaceful and beautiful.  The smoke wasn't around last night, which was a blessing.  Praying for all those touched by the fires. 

Softball

 

Softball/baseball season has officially started at our house.  At first we were thinking that softball would make the summer go by fast, which in turn makes our house be done fast, but now i'm wondering why the heck we put all three in at one time!  We have been going everywhere in different cars all week, but the girls are really loving it!  Kaden starts his tomorrow, so i'll get some pictures of him up then.  Sydney had her game last night and hit a double, she was so proud!  It was awesome.  Kyrah also had a couple good hits on Monday without using the T!  It's so fun!! 

 

 

Fun!

The kids have really started to settle in and I think we are down to just a few more boxes to find homes for!  We have had a very busy weekend!  Here are the highlights! The irrigation ditch did bring back a lot of memories!  We also went swimming and are going to dinner for our 12th anniversary!  Xoxo

Moments

Tonight was a night of moments. Kyrah had her first modified t-ball practice and really enjoyed it. Sydney helped with a lot of chores here at the ranch because the two boys have been sick (yes she actually loved it!). Kaden rode his bike for the first time without training wheels and didn't even need Devin to run beside him! It was so amazing! It's so nice because we feel so lucky to be out here, but Kyrah was crying tonight, really missing the old house. We closed on the house a week ago and have been living out here for two weeks now, but I think it just hit her tonight that we really aren't going back to the old house. As one mom said today, it is so nice for the kids to realize we can live with so much less in our lives. We have about 1/4 of our processions here, and I do miss a few things (my bed included!) but there hasn't been many things we have needed or considered missing. Devin thinks we should sell it all ( I think its so he doesn't have to move it!) lol. As a mom, seeing my kids hurt like that, hurts me, but we can only hope that this experience will be happy and that they will realize that truly family and love is all that matters.

Ballet
