Garage doors!

We have garage doors, and they even close!!!  Today the last window got installed so ill get a picture of that tomorrow. We get to meet with the masonry guy tomorrow to pick out the stone for the front. The driveway should be poured shortly too! Moving up and on!!! 

Mud Puddles!

While I am still waiting for the system to start working again, here are some more pictures of our summer adventure!  This happened a couple weeks ago, after a day or so of rain.  The kids played in the mud puddle for a good hour or so.  They LOVED it!  (proud mamma moment!)  Here are a few pictures of the muddy moments!

Softball for the girls is done!  They had a great year and improved so much!  Kaden was a trooper with all the games!

Amy, the children are in love with the gifts you sent. I thought this would be a fitting thank you, you seeing the dresses!  Kaden is sleeping with the car. He won't put it down!  Thank you for the sweet, thoughtful gifts!  I LOVE the glasses!!!!

Okay it's only started, but it's started!  The third picture is my favorite. It's looking through the drain in my shower to the laundry room!  It was Sydney's idea and turned out cool!

8 weeks

It's been 8 weeks today that we moved into the summer house. I can't believe how long it's been!  It's has seemed to take so long and yet so short to get this far!  The kids will really miss this place!  It seems to me that we are just over half way through our Adventure. This week the plumber set the tubs and showers and the siding is mostly up. Hopefully the roof will be done soon!  At 8 weeks the kids are still loving the tramp and bikes. Sydney of course still spends lots of time with the horses and animals. Today Sydney has a double header for softball and the she is done for the year. Kyrah has one more game and Kaden still has a week and a half left of his baseball. Don't know what we'll do without that?  Swim, relax? Lol.

Summer improvement!

What a good July! We have had some real improvement on the house, i actually think we might be able to move in this year! J/K! We are still hoping for the end of August, beginning of September and if they keep it up it actually could happen! All of the framing is done now, and siding is about 3/4 way through. Hopefully they'll start working on the roof today or tomorrow because you have to have the roof done before the electrician can come in to do his rough work. Sydney keeps hoping for delays so she can stay with the horses longer (I know, we might have to get one huh?!). The kids really are getting excited now that they can see their rooms and the backyard. it will be so much bigger than the last one!

This is the kitchen.  At least half of it.  The big window in the background is the formal dinning room and the thing right in the middle is a walk in pantry! Yeah for cooking!!!

This is the master bedroom.  The window is a bay window, so it goes out about a foot.  This is looking south east. 

 This is the back of the house.  Notice the windows are in and the workers are actually hanging the door in the garage!

 This is from Sunday.  The Jungens (Sydney's friend Zander) and his family came over to play with all of the kids and they floated the irrigation ditch.  Devin has some cute pictures I'll get up later, but this is them cleaning off with the sprinkler under the tramp. This is Kyrah and Hayden

This is from Saturday night.  We went to Quentin and Kim's in Eaton and the kids got to sit on Q's motorcycle.  Kaden loved it!  He's wearing the Harley head gear!

It looks like a house!

Movement!

I really think that God is teaching us patience in this whole house building business!  We had more delays this week, but did actually start framing yesterday and they worked through today and got a lot done. The first level has two more walls and then they will start the second level!  It was SO awesome to drive down the street and actually SEE something!  I actually had tears of joy when I saw something physically there!!  We have picked out the cabinets and have the carpet and countertops narrows down to three each, so hope to make a decision on those soon. Had a great 4th if July and have loved a four day weekend!  Love you all xoxo
