Closing Day

Today is finally the day of closing.  61 days after we agreed on a price, it will be complete today at 12:30.  It is a day full of a lots of emotions.  As I walked through the house this morning, in complete silence, my foot steps echoed and there was no laughter.  I rememberd all the great memories we had in there, bringing home Kyrah and Kaden from the hospital, bike markes on the floor, so many movie nights and just love.  We have been so fortunate to have lived in such a great house and been able to make so many memories.  The good, the bad, and the ugly!  We are so excited for the next chapter to begin and so fortunate to be able to wait for that chapter on the property in the camper.  The next chapter will be full of just as many memories, if not more, but it was a good time to reflect and realize how far we have come in the 9 years we were there.  The fun will begin in late August or early September, so we will plan, plan and plan some more for all the new things we get to do there.  Like make a fense and the backyard and all the things that make the house a home!  So excited!!!  Love to you all!

All fun

We have had a few successful days here!  We are so fortunate to be here and be able to let the kids get a little "country" in them" (Yes!!!). God has been SO great to us, it's just amazing!  Here's some pictures of tonight's fun. Ryan, Kellen and Lexi seem to be enjoying the "neighbors" just as much as we are enjoying them!

As we are driving home from breakfast, yes I have the best husband ever, Sydney told us that when she grows up she wants to be the first female football player and work in a Hair Salon! Then

 she will have lots of clients because they will want to meet her!!!  

One step down!

We are all moved out of the house and into the summer house!  It's a mess but here's some pictures of the house.  And the last picture is of the view we are so lucky to see every day!  The kids are in heaven out here. Kaden rode his bike all day, Kyrah was just everywhere and I'm sure you can guess where Sydney was all day...yup, the horses!  We also got to party a little bit with Hollie and Joe for their sons graduation!  It was nice to "have" to take a shower and clean up!  All in all a great day. Tomorrow I am going shopping for food and then back to the old house to clean a little. We did hear from the realtor today and she said the closing might be pushed a week because the underwriters for their loan are behind. It should go through fine, and we will know more Tuesday.

One week to go and finally some progress!

We have one week from today until we close but we are actually going to be fully moved out this weekend. This is the house progress from this week. First picture is from Monday, second from Tuesday and all the rest is from today! And all on Kyrahs birthday!  What a wonderful day. We mowed the lawn for the last time and got a lot of the kitchen packed today, all plastic and paper from here until Saturday! So happy for the progress and can't wait to start this new chapter!  Thanks for all the prayers and loves! Love you all!

Two weeks until closing

We have exactly two weeks until we close on this house. We are hoping to have everything out of the house next weekend, so there's not much time!  Today we tore down the kids' rooms and got a lot of their rooms packed up. 

On the new house front; the HOA has approved the house and the builder should get the permits back this week. Hopefully, so many fingers crossed, he might start digging the foundation this week!  I'll defiantly blog about it as soon as it happens!!!

Night!

First day down!

Started moving some boxes and stuff into the storage unit today! So glad to actually get the process started, makes me feel a lot less stressed! We got four loads (two truck and two Saturn loads) done today! Probably get a few more tomorrow since the weather will be nice!

New house update: all paperwork is done, so the builder can start to pull permits Monday or Tuesday. Hopefully he will be digging the hole in less than two weeks!!

Snow day!

Well Happy May Day! Can't believe on May 1st we got this much snow and they are calling for more all day! Devin is staying home with the kids today, so more snow forts and snow ball fights in the future for the kids!
