Fun in the Sun
Here's Kyrah playing in the water.
Here is Sydney giving Sparkle a bath.
Then after bath time for the animals we went in the sand box to "Chalk".

Ninny swinging Kyrah from the ladder. They both were giggling so hard they had tears.

More PIctures of Western Days
Western Days is new this year, but there was a lot for us to do. Here's some pictures of Free Puppies that Sydney really thought we should bring home.
And of course the Pony Rides. This is Shadow.

And can't forget Honey Bun. She is cutting a new molar. So now she has two bottom teeth, two top molars and working on a bottom molar...just 5 teeth and not in any sort of order yet!!
Cheeze :)

Sydney's horse race
Here is a video of Sydney's horse race yesterday at Western Days at the grocery store.

Sydney's true Love
You might have thought something different, but Sydney's true love are horses. She was crying tonight (big tears) becuase she really wants Grandma Betty to let her "borrow" a horse so she can keep it here. She said we could get a circle pen (round pen) and keep it in there. If land just wasn't so expensive here (and the market better so we could think about selling the house). Thought you might enjoy these pictures of when Sydney was up with Oma and Papa for a few days.

Sydney and Yankee (who follwed her everywhere!)
Papa letting Sydney hold Ace all by herself. Notice the half chaps and cool riding gloves from Aunt Corey and Uncle Greg.

Onery?
Kyrah has decided that all doors have to be closed, no matter what you tell her. Just wanted to share a little bit of life with a one year old!

Today
So I walked in to get the girls from Heidi's today and this is what I found...my little mama taking care of Cooper (who is Heidi's 6 month old nephew). She had a few drinks herself but mostly wanted to take care of Cooper. He was so good too, just layed there and took all the attention he could get.
Then I had to get this picture of the neighborhood kids all playing outside. I took the picture with my camera phone and had it zoomed as far as possible so I could get closer. They are sitting on old inner-tubes and just chatting. It was too cute.

Camping at North Michgan Res.
We went camping this weekend by Walden. It was absolutely beautiful and we had a great time. Mom, dad and Aunt Linda (from ND) met us there with Sydney and it was so great to see her. I jumped out of the car before Devin had a chance to stop! Hal and Linda surprised us and came camping with us for both nights. Here are a few pictures from our weekend.
Here's Kyrah taking Jackson for a walk. She thinks it's so funny and he does really good with her.
Here is the view from our camp site. Devin, Sydney and Treyben are in the bottom left fishing. Devin and Sydney didn't catch any fish, but Trey caught 3.

Too Quiet
It has been really quiet around here this week. Sydney has been with her Grandparents this week and it has been too quiet. I think we are all missing her a lot, even Jackson and Kyrah. We are going camping tomorrow so I'll post some camping pictures when we get back. Have a great weekend!!

Janga or Horses?
I'm so excited that the video thing works (and I know how to use it!) I had to put this other video of Sydney this afternoon playing with the Jenga blocks and horses again.
Too Cute for Words
I'm so pumped that this worked! I love this Blog thing!!! So you'll hear Devin in the back ground, he's actually calling my phone (you'll see it light up).
Hot, Hot, HOT
It hit over 100* here today and it was really hot. We had our AE family BBQ this afternoon (in the dead of the heat wave). Here are some pictures of all our fun!
Sydney wanted to get a horse on her face but she didn't get that choice.
Mom and Kyrah baking in the sun. Of course this was the biggest hit of the whole BBQ so the wait in line was at least 30 minutes or longer.

Sydney said she is not taking a bath until all of her crown comes off...good luck Grandma!
